The short version
- Koyou sorts jobs by the kind of work they are, so you see every job of the kind you want, whatever each employer calls it.
- To recognize job titles, it uses lists that governments publish as open data.
- This page credits each one, as its licence asks.
O*NET, United States
Job titles and the occupations they belong to, from the O*NET 31.0 Database (August 2026), and the Standard Occupational Classification its occupations follow.
We changed this information to fit Koyou: each occupation is placed in one of our role families, and titles are matched without words like “Senior” or the team named after them. To see exactly what we changed, email sam@koyou.co.
